Player user management

To manage the users of the player you need to:

  1. Connect to the player from Pictor Manager.
  2. In the main menu of the player window, select Users tab.

In the window displayed, you can add new users and edit or delete existing users.

Default user

After installation, the programme has one system administrator.


Default login data

User: admin

Password: admin


Remember! It is recommended to change the default user password.

User rights

Each user has the following rights:

  • Administrator - right to change the Users menu, Appearance, Configuration buttons. 
  • Region 1...4 - right to add, edit, delete list slides of a given region (menu Playable content). If there are more than 4 regions, the tick next to Region 4 also indicates the possibility to edit further regions. 
  • Tickers 1...4 - right to edit the content of a given information ticners (menu Information tickers). 
  • Edit own content only - if you select this option, the user will not be able to change or delete other users' content.
  • Approval required - if you select this option content added by the user will be inactive until activated by the administrator.


Element types

Select the types of content that are blocked for the selected user.

This option can be used to limit the visibility of content that is not used by the selected user. This gives the user interface fewer features.
